BSEC Versions

Hello everyone,
I am working on a project in which I need to read every value from the BME680 sensor. I am using the BSEC library version v1.4.9.2, from reading the descriptions of newer versions such as v2.4.0.0 the software should be a vast upgrade of use, but when I try using the v2.4.0.0 I can't seem to get proper workings of the sensors without alot of errors. 

My question is, what are the main differences between these libraries, and does the newer version require any other software for it to run without errors.

Hi Jure_Stosic,

BSEC1 does not support gas estimation. In addition to supporting IAQ and other outputs, BSEC2 has added gas estimation. If you are using BSEC2.4.0.0, you can refer to the example code in the attachment.
