What is the best IMU for position tracking of hand-held devices? Goal Hand motion 6DoF tracking ; to see movement difference between two sensors.
I am looking at the BMI088 vs BMI260 (and others); possibly BHI380, but I can't find details specs on its IMU.
BMI088 : Bias Instability 2°/h ; zero-offset A:30mg G: 1dps ; Noise Density A: 230uG/Hz G: 0.015dps/hz ; A/G sensitivity error ???%
BMI260 : Bias Instability ?°/h ; zero-offset A:20mg G: 0.5dps ; Noise Density A: 160uG/Hz G: 0.008dps/hz ; A/G sensitivity error 0.4%
The BMI260 has self-calibrating gyroscope.
Suggestions for best IMU for position tracking of hand-held devices ; human hand-held motion. 20 minutes max time tracking.
And are there any examples of IMU position tracking that we can build on ?

For position tracking application, we recommended to use BHI260AP because it integrated firmware which support the position tracking function.
