I2C of BME680 and BME280

Are the I2C interfaces for BME680 and BME280 identical ?

In other words, would the I2C implementation that works on the BME280, work similarly on BME680 ?

Hi Salam,

BME680 and BME280 have different I2C addresses. In addition to the I2C address, I2C communication working on BME280 will be able to work on BME680.
