Mechanical sensor integration of BMP5xy

Hi,

We are using this sensor to measure and looking to get some recommendations about sensor integration in our device.

1. Do you have any membrane air-flow recommendations to get minimum possible response time?
2. In the below image, is their any restriction on maximum and minimum volume within the confinement wall which affects sensor operations?
3. Is it okay to include multiple sensor in to the confined space ? (e.g. : Adding a temperature sensor to measure the ambient temperature sensor)

Hi prajyotpalande,

1.Customer usually decide upon the membrane based on their requirement and use case, for example our customer is using a PTFE membrane for waterproofing. But as I mentioned the customer should test based on their use case.
Usually, membrane manufacturers have professional tools to analyze air flow rate, and breathability is also one of the parameters of the membrane.
2.There is no clear limit on the volume of the cavity. Usually, the smaller the cavity, the faster the exchange between the sensor and the external air.
