We use BME280 in our monitoring device. Our customer is asking for re-calibration of the sensor.

When it is needed?

What is the manufacturer's recommendation for re-calibration of the sensor?   

OR is it not required due to being a digital sensor?

We use BME280 to monitor all mentioned quantities above. In most application cases to monitor cargo during shipping or storage.

The customer's auditor requires information if the re-calibration is required or recommended after a specific time of use.

Is there such a specific recommendation or requirement?

Usually, calibration requires comparison with standard equipment in a laboratory environment.

We need to confirm if there is BOSCH recommendation for re-calibration of the sensor after a specific time or type of use.

We do not need to know how.
