Hello
I'm looking for a thermal resistance of BMA456 for thermal analysis.
Please let me know.

Hi, Robin
Thanks for your reply.
The product we are making is a product that generates heat, so We want to calculate the worst-case heat rise if the sensor fails.
BMA456 simply uses position information.
Please understand that we cannot share further details.
thank you

Hi brain_tom,
What is the possible operating temperature range of your target product? Is it an industrial grade product? Does the design involve secure applications?

Hi, Robin
The product's operating temperature ranges from -40 to 80 and is used as a consumer range.

The thermal resistance of the BMA456 accelerometer is 50°C/W. This means that for every watt of power dissipated by the accelerometer, its temperature will increase by 50°C.
This thermal resistance is relatively low, which means that the BMA456 is a good choice for applications where heat dissipation is a concern. However, it is important to note that the thermal resistance can vary depending on the operating conditions, such as the ambient temperature and the airflow around the accelerometer.

Hi brain_tom,
After our internal check, we need to confirm if you design a project with BMA456? If yes, you could provide your email or send private to me for further discussion.
