    Is there a best practice available to use the BME280 inside a waterproof (IP56) rated enclosure, maintaining a high accuracy? Should the BME280 be placed behind a hole in the enclosure covered by, for example, a Gore Tex membrane or are there other protection solutions available which protect the BME280 but do not influence the measurement results?  ...
