BMX160 replacement

I'm currently using BMX160 for my project. However, it is out of stock everywhere i seached for.

Is there any potential replacement? My piority is having same footprint and similar performance

Hello spachner,

If pins ASDX, ASCX are not used, they will be high impedance status. Theoretically, these two pins can work when they are connected to GND.
You need to be careful not to call the register configuration related to secondary interface. The firmware closes the secondary interface by default.

thanks for the really quick respone, appeciate this.

Good to know that it theoretically works. We will avoid activating the 2nd interface for sure, but: What to the max could happen, wenn the 2nd I2C interface is used? Aren't the pins 2/3 using an open-collector driver as usual for "normal" I2C busses? Then this should not damage the chip due to a short-cut to GND I would state.

Hello spachner,

This is not the correct use when pin 2, 3 are connected to GND and enable secondary interface. We haven't do the test with incorrect use like this.
